Overall, the show is really fun. It has supernatural case-of-the-week style mysteries, plus overarching enemies to contend with. While the main character’s coming out arc and romantic subplot with his detective partner may not appeal to everyone, it adds a layer of personal growth and relatability. The ensemble cast is strong, each actor bringing energy and depth that elevates the screenplay, making even weaker moments rewatchable. Some plot points are overly transparent, reducing suspense at times, but the creative cases and inventive detective work largely compensate. Corny moments and minor screenplay issues exist but don’t derail the overall experience. The series successfully combines fun, creativity, and supernatural intrigue, making it a dynamic and enjoyable watch for fans of mysteries and unique character-driven storytelling.
