This is a series vastly funny and entertaining, but tailor-made for this moment we are passing through.

There's so much interesting commentary to be made there but the show doesn't use its setting like it should.

It may not be totally surprising to learn that Dear White People has been picked up for a third season, it's still reason to celebrate - and in a world where we increasingly have few reasons to do so, this is pretty excellent news.

With each episode of the season focusing on a different character, Dear White People's second season adds new depth to well-drawn characters that carry over from season one.
