The third season of Delhi Crime returns with the quiet confidence of a seasoned detective. This time, the crime extends far beyond the capital’s borders. What begins as a case of missing girls from Silchar, Assam... Go to Full Review

With another ripped-from-the-headlines story, Season 3 of Delhi Crime continues to be a grounded and moving portrait of those fighting for justice. Go to Full Review

Delhi Crime: Season 3 ultimately settles into the rhythms of a competent, if predictable, thriller. It neither fully matches the boldness and narrative ambition that defined Richie Mehta’s original concept nor entirely retreats into formula. Go to Full Review

Delhi Crime Season 3 is not as good as, let alone better than, the two previous seasons, but it isn't, for sure, much worse. And that is no small feat. Go to Full Review

The storytelling of Delhi Crime Season 3 is as powerful as the previous seasons. The story is hugely relevant and human, and the way each case is connected is absolutely mind-blowing. Go to Full Review

Peter C @peterc1 Dec 6 After two compelling seasons, the third season is a complete letdown. Gone are the politically incorrect police interrogations, gone is the shameless Delhi violence, instead we have a sweet little public service announcement about human trafficking. The bad guys are not believable, and Shefali Shetty is just phoning it in. The shoot out at the end is so completely predictable. Is this what Richie Mehta intended ? I doubt there will be another season after this crap. What a shame. Seasons 1 and 2 were Sooo good. See more Janice T. @CalMovieGirl Dec 3 Gritty and compelling; great casting, writing and performances See more Javed A @RT39392844 Nov 22 Gritty raw drama well written and difficult choices low paid officers have to make See more Monica S @RT17026576 Nov 20 Delhi Crime Season 3. Extremely weak characters, lacking training in self defence, detecting,etc... The senior police officers all the time emotional, inefficient and arriving after criminalshave gone. Very frustrating. Ending was hilarious See more Samarth S @RT35466189 Nov 18 Delhi Crime Season 1: Amazing, Solid (Director: Richie Mehta) Delhi Crime Season 2: Decent, Lengthy (Director: Tanuj Chopra) Delhi Crime Season 3: Very Average, Several Flaws Compared To Season 1 And 2 Review (My Opinion): The overall critical reception for Delhi Crime Season 3, which tackles a harrowing human trafficking case inspired by the Baby Falak incident, where the concept is good but it is the weakest season compared to its Emmy-winning predecessors. It's praised for its commitment to realism and strong performances, but is sometimes criticized for a lack of tension and a more formulaic plot. 👍 Positives Exceptional Acting: Shefali Shah is consistently lauded for her commanding and empathetic portrayal of DCP (now DIG) Vartika Chaturvedi. New cast member Huma Qureshi also receives high praise for her chillingly calm and convincing performance as the antagonist, Meena. However, her role as a human trafficking kingpin is underutilized. The supporting cast, including Rajesh Tailang and Mita Vashisht, are also noted for their strong contributions. Realistic & Restrained Handling: Like previous seasons, it avoids sensationalism and gratuitous violence, focusing instead on the raw truth and the psychological aspects of the crime. The show maintains its signature empathetic gaze towards the characters and the subject matter. Relevant Social Commentary: The season exposes the dark reality of interstate human trafficking, focusing on the social apathy and greed that enable such crimes, making the series feel dark, raw, and highly relevant. Intriguing Face-Off: The new dynamic created by pitting Vartika Chaturvedi against a formidable female antagonist, Meena, adds an interesting layer of moral complexity, as both women have fought against patriarchal systems. 👎 Negatives Sporadic Thrill and Tension: A common critique is that the season lacks the lingering tension and urgency that defined the earlier seasons, particularly Season 1. What was once a "whydunit" (exploring the societal causes) feels more like a conventional, albeit competent, cat-and-mouse chase with a straight storyline. Formulaic Plot Points: Some reviewers found the narrative relies too heavily on predictable tropes, such as a foreseeable face-off between the lead cop and the villain. There are also instances of plot convenience where clues (like CCTV footage) appear exactly when needed, making the police look perhaps too competent. Overall, Delhi Crime: Season 3 Was Pretty Average. Weak Finale: Ta misstep, leaning too much into a dramatic, "the series' legacy, held up primarily by the terrific performances of its cast.
