I'm pretty sure you could pause anywhere in this series, frame that print, and have your home looking like you got both the time and money to patronize museum gift shops.

With stunning swordfights and supernatural powers, high stakes, a lot of heart, and even a fair amount of humor, the 26-episode first season has everything you need for your next anime binge watch.

Sep 16, 2020 | Full Review…

What's rare about Demon Slayer's adaptation is the consistency with which the animation and voice acting enhances the work, not just for specific important scenes, but every episode.

Sep 10, 2020 | Full Review…

It's the small things that matter after all, and Demon Slayer has continued to succeed with its brief but powerful moments of action and human (and demon?) drama.

Sep 10, 2020 | Full Review…

It definitely will be the next Attack on Titan, and it already is one helluva anime.

Sep 10, 2020 | Full Review…

Has its faults, and I would place it on a lower level in terms of overall context than "Goblin Slayer" or "My Hero Academia". However, there is still a lot to like here, even for mature audiences, while fans of shonen will probably have a blast.

I think this series is reasonable not so good but crazy sound effect animation add and it puts us into some sort and get into the character through the animated sound effects big nose

    Best anime you can watch

Great anime which hits most of the marks. At its heart it is a generic shounen show offering nothing new or extraordinary to the genre, it wins out on its basis of premium production values. The plot is simple yet engaging, got good character development, awesome soundtracks and voice-overs, the animation itself is well made, the fight sequences gory and well choreography, the only thing I could complain of was the need of more humour.

First of all, people who didn't watch 26 full episodes don't have rights to judge Demon Slayer fairly. I found some rating low scores are people who skipped some episodes. On the whole, I have positive impression toward Demon Slayer. It is obvious that creators sacrificed their talents as professional for the work. I'm satisfied with beautiful rural scenery, nostalgic architectures in Taisho era. Especially the poor-plain rice field countryside is well contrasted with pleasant atmosphere in Asakusa, where it used to be the largest district in Japan. However, more than that, the most biggest endeavor turned into battle scene. I usually cannot help looking away from sadistic scene but I endured that personal hardships. I think it was because that kind of scenes were drawn artistic, beautifully well. Even so, I heard Demon Slayer is well-known to young to adults, among family members, and younger children are even still in kindergarten. I would not be able to comprehend that point. Behead one's head is not for good children. Too early to be seen. Come to think of characters, I have neutral thoughts. I'm a person who tend to prefer character who is worth respecting. Thus they should be good example; toughness, gentleness, modesty even in trouble. Tanjiro and Urokodaki are equally lead my priority, then Giyu and Nezuko following after as favorites. Or, to be honest, there would be no choice except them. Almost every character cannot be good example as mine but they are more cold-blooded, cruel, nasty and coward regardless ally-enemy. In addition to that, I sometimes see speech lines that remind me of lookism about females and men. After running the whole distance, I will comprehend why that character is popular among ardent Kimetsu followers, then I would like to change my negative image of them. I am really looking forward upcoming movie and also to the last.

A boy's family is killed by demons and his sister turned into one, he becomes a demon slayer in a search to cure his sister. It's pretty and uses its CGI well, but man the dialogue, story, lore, and protagonist are sooo stupid. Smell powers? Seriously? The fights can be cool and the humor is weird. Dropped it after 7 episodes.
