Language, supernatural visuals in enjoyably bloody series.

Diablero has some serious bumps, but if you enjoy any of the countless demon-based television shows out there, this one will similarly appease you.

Dec 28, 2018 | Rating: 7/10 | Full Review…

Diablero is a bit over-the-top bloody, but you won't find many shows about demon hunters that are quite like Elvis Infante.

I am mexican and this tv show represents very well our urban culture and how we see the death and demons more naturally than other cultures, you can see how the people would speak to another just like in the real México.

Diablero manage to merge traditional demon hunters stories with mexican culture, interesting most of the time.

It is really not that bad of a series. The story kept me watching. The characters are interesting enough. It's worth giving it a watch.

Diablero is based on a very rich universe, the story is well played and enriched by the ambience of Mexico City. Horacio Garcia Rojas is superb on his performance as Elvis Infante, he carries the show and makes the absurdity of some of the situations work. The characters are play very well together. I am in love with the story, and read the original novel after seeing the show, and Edgar Clement's graphic novels and material that were also an inspiration for the novel. Take the opportunity of watching Diablero, if you like dark themes and superheroes you will not be disappointed. Elvis is sort of a Mexican Constantine.

Great history. A good combination between wichtcraft, demon hunt, religion, and ancient aztec rituals. A little touch of Constantine, Ghostbusters and Fullmetal Alchemist.

This series is over the top, with several LOL moments. It also has very creative plot twists and special effects. Those who don't tolerate blood and demonic possession should skip it, while those who like to laugh at the devil should binge. The episodes are only 38 minutes long.
