There's a cliche that says "the rich get richer," and while that may be true it's not always done through legal or moral methods. This docuseries takes a look at stories of scandal and corruption in business, exposing acts of corporate greed and corruption. The episodes feature firsthand accounts of the unscrupulous activities from the perspectives of both the perpetrators and their victims. Some of the tales that are told include a car company that cheats emissions tests to save money and the drama and shady deals that abound in Donald Trump's business empire.

Although I know the world can seem a bleak enough place without sitting down at night to face the hard truths in a docuseries like Dirty Money, I guarantee viewers will emerge feeling more sharply aware of how the systems around us operate. Go to Full Review

What that product also puts into focus is another idea that's gained more traction in the time between "Dirty Money" seasons: long term costs almost always outweigh the short term savings. Go to Full Review
Nick Schager The Daily Beast 03/09/2020
Destined to incite outrage and dismay, it's another round of eye-opening warnings about the foolishness of expecting fairness and decency in any situation in which the powerful have an opportunity to profit at the expense of the less fortunate. Go to Full Review

The show also does an effective job of interviewing victims and putting a human face on these crimes, showing how financial malpractice involving moving numbers on a spreadsheet or encouraging unethical sales practices have tragic consequences. Go to Full Review

See more ka m @RT55291504 06/05/2020 Road map for how to get rich. All riches are stolen. These are the ones who got caught. See more 04/15/2020 Shocking. These are really hard to believe stories and situations...and harder to watch (especially for those negatively impacted). Some made headline news, many didn't. The phrase "money is the root of all evil" certainly seems to hold true. Hard to imagine how deplorable and predatory some people (and institutions) are. For those caught and punished...karma is a bitch. For those not there is a special place in hell waiting for them.
