Dollface: Season 1 (2019)

SEASON:

Season 1
Dollface

Critics Consensus

Dollface has all of the right parts: a talented cast, a promising premise, and plenty of surreal intrigue -- if only its shallow vision of feminism didn't undermine them.

Best show I've watched in a long time that was funny, socially aware and about self discovery.

While it's portrayal of female friendship is typical Hollywood fantasy and completely unrealistic it was still a fun show to watch. Kat Dennings is great as always.

I just began season one, but I am already super into the show. The cast is great, I love the characters, and despite the comedy it feels real and sincere in it's iussues. It's hard to make and mantain friendships and relationship, and it's even harder when you are still figuring out yourself.

I really enjoyed the characters, that it was light-hearted with a twist and an easy watch. I hope there will be a season 3!

I loved this series, unlike so many comedy series, for me, where i find the characters are kind of flat and where the whole show focuses too hard on getting laughs, this one has characters who are well formed and real, and it is a comedy with drama overtones, a bit of a dramedy shall we say, which for me are usually more funny than straight up comedies, and this show is no exception; i laughed out loud alot while watching Dollface! Also the acting for this show, especially by those playing the main characters, was awesome, great soundtrack. i liked that some of the show was outside in the real public!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this wacky show. There's a rocky start, but after that it really hits home. Recommend not just for females
