See more Nate S @RT65246076 Oct 4, 2026 I went into Elle completely blind with zero prior knowledge of Legally Blonde (Yes this is true!) and I still managed to watch the whole way through and enjoy it! We see the development of a sheltered high school girl get absolutely hated on, and by the end, she said Screw the haters! Always something juicy going on too. I watched Legally Blonde after this and retroactively realized how many little details were added in from that, which was really cool. Like how she always blocked out the haters! Unfortunately, I feel like the writers did not know how to end off the season nicely while setting up for another one. The last episode was doing way too much and felt like it could've ended 5 times. It isn't funny. It's painfully forced and awkward. It exhausts itself with the running time. This could easily be a solid 30-minute show, not the variable 45 to 60-minute run time that it has. It's so desperate that it tries to recreate moments from the first movie, despite the fact that they actually haven't happened yet. The real positive thing I can say is the casting of Lexi Minetree.
