What a totally weird series. I binge watched it, I found it utterly compelling. Loved the ending, can't wait for the sequel. Fantastic.

Terrible acting and a very bad storyline. The little girl is the worst. What a waste of time.
  • Dec 27, 2021
The whole family was annoying and selfish. I was rooting for the elves to get them.

Worst show in history! The parents are idiots and don't hold their children (daughter) accountable. Now the daughter, she's an idiot, selfish, rude, disrespectful, condescending, and just an overall nightmare of a daughter. I've never hated a character/show to the point of starting an review account. I stopped watching the show to preserve the brain cells I have left. I hope the parents and daughter (not the brother) died. Especially, the daughter.

I made an account just to rate this series as low as possible. The premise is unique - unfortunately the writing is terrible. By episode 3 I was begging for the little girl and her family to be eaten. The main characters we are supposed to be rooting for are pure stereotypes, dumb as a box of rocks, and completely unlikeable. I'm not sure if it was the language translation or a difference in culture but the relationships/dialogue between characters was also superficial and fake. The cherry on top was the visiting family suffering no consequences for all the people they killed. The whole series was just awful. Watch literally anything besides this.

Really terrible, avoid. Horrible unlikable characters constantly making the dumbest possible choices. Boring and stupid plot. Bad english dubbing. Seriously, just watch Gremlins again instead.

Had potential. The first two episodes were somewhat intriguing, but then the show was ran through the mud by terrible writing. The little girl in the show is portrayed by a decent actress, but the character herself is an irredeemable turd. Spoilers: Little girl takes injured baby elf after being told to stay away. Man gets brutally killed by elves because she took the baby. Little girl is told to stay away again. Man takes baby elf back to woods where it's species lives. Little girl decides it's hers, so she goes to get it back. Little girl kills adult elf that is defending its territory. Little girls parents break electric fence holding the elves in. At least two more people die because elves want revenge on little girl. Mom tells girl it isn't her fault. Little girl finally acknowledges it's her fault. Old lady tries to sacrifice little girl to elves. While fleeing after being saved, little girl stops and tries AGAIN to take elf baby, even though multiple people died because she did this before. Everyone in the show besides Liv is an idiot.

This was weird and fun. I was happy that it was so different from everything else out.

I signed up just to give this show the worst rating possible. Everyone involved should be deeply ashamed. Clearly something is wrong with a tv show when the audience is rooting for all of the protagonists to die. The hurried, lazy script seems to have been written on the toilet while the writer rifled through his pockets looking for his fentanyl bag, and the annoying actors seem to have been recruited from the line of Karens at the pharmacy complaint department. At six episodes, the plot is spread thin, like too little **** wiped over too much paper, and it's driven entirely by the idiotic decisions of its irrational characters. As in life, the rich, entitled city folk destroy everything they touch without facing any consequences, reassuring their snotty, eye-rolling daughter that none of the bloodshed she causes is her fault. The last scene (bit of a spoiler) does hold out a small glimmer of hope that our protagonists will eventually be shredded like so much pulled pork, the only scene in the series that offers a genuine moment of Christmas cheer.

So dumb! Totally unbelievable elements, like the little girl who reaches the destination on her bike at the same time the guy drives in his truck! How she gets inside the electrified enclosure even though the guy locks it after entering?? Some tense moments but hard to care. Would've been happy to see both parents taken by the elves - that would've improved the viewing experience! Hopefully there is no series 2!
