It’s not better than Lenox Hill, necessarily. It has its own system, its own level of tension. And lots of it. Go to Full Review

It shows how, during the process, medical professionals are often required to make quick and difficult decisions, and how each member of the medical staff requires the assistance of others to provide good care. Go to Full Review

Emergency NYC is a series that celebrates regular people. It does this by showing that no one is irregular or boring. It’s a show filled with wonderful and sometimes heartbreaking characters and personalities... Go to Full Review

The filmmakers will likely lean hard on the dedication and skill of the staff and the good outcomes that can happen when all of these people come together on a tough case... Why bum people out with reality, right? Go to Full Review

Kathryn J @KathrynJ Oct 29 This is terrific and completely absorbing. You fall in love with the doctors, nurses and EMTs. The patients’ stories are very interesting, with plenty of heartbreak and inspiration. Just as good, if not better, than the tv medical dramas. See more Patrick R @RT10101563 02/05/2025 Very great show. However, as an Emergency Department nurse, this show did not do justice to the complex role of emergency services in New York City. The producers are still having separation anxiety with their previous leads in Lenox Hill. To the point that they are highlighting non-emergency-related issues and situations. I hope they should have made a sequel fitting to highlight the two neurosurgeons instead of using the guise of an Emergency NYC show. See more K A @Kremyy 04/11/2023 Just as good as Lennox Hill was. These people are real life heroes but also incredibly humble and human. It is a touching series everyone should watch. See more Sara D @RT40529722 04/06/2023 This should be a mandatory watch for everyone. Moving, thoughtful, a reminder of the hard work our healthcare workers put in every day to help us and the social issues impacting it. Makes you appreciate your health and life just a little more. See more Kim A @Kimmo 03/31/2023 This show is absolutely amazing! I would give it 10 stars if I could…so very well done. See more Amanda S @mandiistone 03/31/2023 Emergency: NYC is not your ordinary medical documentary series, it's a thrilling, heartbreaking and edge-of-your-seat look into the frontline workers and the lives of the patients they save in America's biggest city.
