The Netflix docuseries 'Encounters', produced by Amblin, promised to investigate the UFO phenomenon with scientific neutrality. It blurs the lines of folklore and spirituality, with eye witness testimonies that include a number of seemingly credible witnesses and footage. The series attempts to show how our quest for scientific discovery does not have to - and perhaps should not - come at the cost of our spirituality - and that perhaps the knowledge and wisdom that we seek will bring us full circle in the end.
