As much as I enjoy this cast and the general premise, I would gladly have traded a half-dozen “rules” and unsurprising “twists” for an actual comic voice to emerge instead. Go to Full Review
Alison Herman Variety Oct 8, 2026
The show needs more time to carve out its own identity, both vis-a-vis “Ghosts” and in the crowded field of vampire media. Luckily, if there’s one thing vampires have in spades, it’s time to kill -- get it? Go to Full Review
Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times Oct 8, 2026
In the spirit, tee-hee, of the network’s “Ghosts,” and, indeed, created by its developers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, comes another supernatural domestic comedy, the likable, clever “Eternally Yours.” Go to Full Review

7/10
Even at its weakest, Eternally Yours has a delightfully camp vibe that captivates the viewer. Go to Full Review
Rob Owen Pittsburgh Tribune-Review Oct 15, 2026
"Eternally Yours” delivers a few funny moments, but there are no non-vampire characters to ground it and “Eternally Yours” lacks some of the heart that distinguishes “Ghosts." Go to Full Review

Amber H @Amberharr 2 hrs ago I really wanted to like this show since I am a huge fan of Ghosts. The pilot episode was very difficult to get through but thought it would get better. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get through another episode and turned it off. The actors are OK it’s just not a good quality show and definitely not family friendly. I was actually grossed out at some parts and do not recommend it. I really think some of the actors are very talented individually, but it just doesn’t work as a cohesive ensemble cast. Sadly, I’m not going to watch any more episodes. See more Jayme L @RT61904934 3 days ago I am absolutely loving Eternally Yours! It has that exact same casual, fun energy as New Girl, The Office, or Parks and Recreation. The best part is that the comedy never feels forced—it’s just a completely natural, easy watch. Every single character is distinct and memorable. There is absolutely zero pressure when you sit down to watch this; it’s just pure fun. It has a tremendous amount of potential and is the ultimate feel-good show! I imagine a lot of the negative points have to do with people not understanding that this show is NOT what we do in the shadows. I feel like some people made their own conclusions about what the show would be. I Think this is better, personally. See more Joe P @COMBATREADY 3 days ago Pleasantly entertaining…. Nice to see a fun show with no agenda just entertainment not all violence and sex, See more victoria K @RT24842898 4 days ago Camp, funny, and obsessed with the cast except the daughter. See more Dawn H @Outburst09 6 days ago I really wanted to like this. The trailers made it look like a fun vampire comedy, something along the lines of What We Do in the Shadows, but the first two episodes were a massive disappointment. The humor is painfully forced, full of awkward, quirky millennial jokes that try way too hard to be funny. What's frustrating is how much potential the premise has. You have a couple who've been married for 500 years, an entire vampire coven living in modern society, and a guy who suddenly becomes a vampire. There's so much you could do with that. Instead, it mostly feels like a generic family sitcom where the characters just happen to drink blood. Sure, they introduce some vampire rules and abilities, but they barely do anything interesting with them. Even Max becoming a vampire feels more like an excuse for awkward jokes than something worth exploring. Maybe it gets better, but so far it's been cringey, unfunny, and a waste of a genuinely interesting premise. See more R W @RTReview Oct 21, 2026 It was meh. Felt like it was supposed to an episode of Ghosts that someone said "this could be a show." Which makes sense since its from the Ghosts writers. See more Read all reviews
