An American adaptation of the Israeli show of the same name, "Euphoria" follows the troubled life of 17-year-old Rue, a drug addict fresh from rehab with no plans to stay clean. Circling in Rue's orbit are Jules, a transgender girl searching for where she belongs; Nate, a jock whose anger issues mask sexual insecurities; Chris, a football star who finds the adjustment from high school to college harder than expected; Cassie, whose sexual history continues to dog her; and Kat, a body-conscious teen exploring her sexuality. As the classmates struggle to make sense of their futures, the series tackles the teenage landscape of substance-enhanced parties and anxiety-ridden day-to-day life with empathy and candor.

In its second season, Euphoria struggles to move forward with its pivotal arcs, which makes the story feel lacking in a lot of ways. It also makes the huge mistake of sidelining multiple characters, turning them into a shadow of what they used to be.

It still is visually incredible, and its overall acting makes the show go places few reach. But we can feel the story dragging in ways season 1 did not. Modern addiction through all its lenses. [Full review in Spanish]

Rue is the most boring character ever she's nothing, she sleepwalking in every scene that she's in this is what passes for acting these days,🙄 maddy is very predictable girl, there is nothing mysterious or special about her there is nothing to discover it's all out there, she's really isn't a complicated character,😴 Cassie is not very well written character at all, I mean duh what do you expect from who is in charge of this thing,😏

Best tv series in history of accurately portraying addiction and how it effects yourself and everyone around you. Not too mention if you like young adult or high school shows this is unrivaled
