3.5/5
The resolutions of some episodes can be time-worn, but they’re reached with real emotion. Netflix has doubled down on the trials of adolescence to mixed effect, but this is one of their better new shows. Go to Full Review

Everything Now explores so many big emotions and fraught relationships with depth and specificity. Even when it traffics in teen drama tropes, its original voice shines through. Go to Full Review
Geordie Gray The Australian 10/06/2023
The role is a tall order: television and film have, in the past, royally flunked at portraying the nuanced, hopeless, and silent suffering of someone with an eating disorder. But there’s a good team behind this. Go to Full Review

It’s a coming-of-age story that deals with several serious topics. Sophie Wilde stars in the all-important lead role and she’s perfect. Go to Full Review

In a sea of teen series, Everything Now manages to stand out, not only for its engaging storyline but also for bringing queer identities to the forefront and portraying life's challenges with authenticity. Go to Full Review

Adham A @Adhamo08 03/16/2025 We need more stories like this!!!!! See more Maya T @RT63455726 09/01/2024 great show loved it a lot :((( See more Mia F @RT29993686 10/12/2023 I really wanted to love this show but the main character is too obnoxiously self centered. See more Rexie S @RT71317387 10/10/2023 Creating a show about eating disorders its almost an impossible task (because of the nature of the disorder itself) , but this show handles it carefully and without glamorizing it which it is extremely difficult. That it´s a very significant win. As any Netflix show, the "woke/urban-progressive" tone is there, and its very cringe to think adults write scripts about 16 yrs old kids who, apparently most of them, do cocaine, have abortions, cheat and lie to their friends, live in huge houses with rich parents who are unhappy, have friends of every race and ethnicity that exist and are gay. In reality, this isn't actually true and the british teen experience varies greatly around england and the UK. Its worth watching it ? i think so, but strangely, i think adults (specially those who suffered from an ed at any point or still do) will enjoy it more than actual teens.
