Family Guy's new season seemed to be starting off on a strong note... [and then] the series reverted to its usual, cynical self.

The bits are way to long now. To frequent and not funny anymore.

The new season is so on point that it made me question if there are all new writers.
  • Aug 31, 2019
I had a great time watching this season! It was hilarious!

I dunno if it's because I haven't watched it for quite a while now, whether something's inspired seth with new ideas, or what, but this is in my opinion the best season yet. Loads of fresh new ideas, stories pretty well put together, lots of stuff relevant to recent developments in society, jokes that had me literally laughing out loud and creased up at times, absolutely loved it. You know how some shows you feel are just dragging it out and flogging a dead horse? I thought this might be beforehand, but it isn't. It's as good as ever, maybe better.

meibe it's time to stop renewing the series. writers are cruising in an ocean of material shortages. it becomes really annoying. excruciatingly annoying.
  • Jun 18, 2019
I thought that this was a solid season. Looki g forward towards the next one!

Family guy has always been good for a laugh, even though every now and then you will have one episode that didn't quite do it for you. That is until this season. This season was by far the worst thing Seth MacFarlane has ever put his name on and that is saying a lot. They need to fire every writer that worked on the latest season.

Found this to be a fairly funny season. It's nice to see that they're still able to come up with at some different storylines after seventeen years. (I especially liked the decluttering episode.) There are also some nice tributes to late voice cast members Adam West and Carrie FIsher. Unfortunately, this season continues the show's continuing habit of making Brian more and more unbearable to the point where it's just uber lazy writing. And, he's in this a LOT. The two-part where he got married was just sad and completely unnecessary. Of course, the show also keeps up it's long tradition of the occasional joke that goes too far. A part where Meg gets assaulted by President Trump and no one in the family believes her is particularly in poor taste.

Episode 16 was completely terrible, I've been watching for years. So disappointing
