Season 3
Fear the Walking Dead
A distinctive ensemble brings a compelling flavor of Fear to The Walking Dead mythos, but this ambitious spinoff still shares its originator's penchant longwinded pacing that may diminish the tension for some viewers.

Critic Reviews for Fear the Walking Dead Season 3
All Critics (6) | Top Critics (2) | Fresh (5) | Rotten (1)
Episodes 2 and 3 are an encouraging start, and the new setting has promise, with plenty of possible character dynamics to explore.
Fear the Walking Dead has come to resemble ... a complicated soap opera set among scruffy yet fashionably dressed survivors who deal with each other's feelings even as a decomposing dead guy occasionally staggers through the frame.
Although it has improved, Fear the Walking Dead continues to suffer from characters that satisfy the viewer, that make you want to accompany them in their survival adventure, to mark them in some way. [Full Review in Spanish]
Fear The Walking Dead finally fulfilled its mission... [Full review in Spanish]
Fear has finally mastered the one thing that has plagued both this drama and its predecessor: narrative pacing.
Fear The Walking Dead builds tension in increments and gives its story room to breathe, resulting in a strong start to the season.

Apr 13, 2020Season 3 of FTWD is pretty good. It's a refreshing thing to because the past two seasons where just...ok at best. Season three of Fear The Walking Dead starts off great by giving Travis some great character development. We get some pretty bloody and gruesome scenes throughout the season and also some great characters bonding moments. I loved Troy and Madison's relationship and while some where ticked on what Madison did to him, I found it strangely...amazing. A great season story with true tension and shocking twists is what most of season 3 consists of. Every character grows in some way or another and that was refreshing to see. I truly loved Madison and Nick this season as they turned into total savages. This was definitely the best season so far. The writing was great and so was the character dialogue. Everything about season 3 was great. The only thing I didn't like was Travis's way to early death. I'm not saying they shouldn't have killed Travis off (I actually liked this decision because it is very shocking) I'm just saying they should have done so later on in the season. Like maybe in The Mid season Premiere or episode 11 or something. But not in the season premiere. Either way though what's done is done and season 3 was still great. I suggest you watch it.

Mar 28, 2020If you root for the dead, instead of the crappy characters, you might actually survive the horrible writing. Garbage.
