No consensus yet.
It's been a while since we've seen this type of crazy.
With two episodes left, like Alicia and Charlie, viewers of Fear the Walking Dead just "needs something to be good."
This episode did have its share of odd narrative choices, such as the herd's relentless pursuit, and Alicia's desire for a beach day, but at least we learned some key backstory details regarding the newbies, even if Martha's story left a lot to be desired
Director Lou Diamond Phillips wanted to offer the audience insight and understanding to Martha, to express just how broken she is and why.
Mistakes have been made. Grave errors. The first of these was making Morgan the new "lead" and having Lennie James replace Kim Dickens... Morgan just isn't that character, and this season is suffering badly for it.
A strong ensemble episode that gives each character their time to shine -- or to fail. In Wendell's case, the former is certainly true.
"MM 54" provided Martha a semi-backstory that explained her current quest to eliminate good samaritans and their efforts, and what we learned about her was flimsy at best and appallingly stupid at worst.
Everyone survives the Filthy Woman's attack, but when she runs out of ammo, she decides to try to talk to them/attack them with her pet zombie.
