There is resolution to their story. I cried so hard at the end. It's only 8 episodes but you live a lifetime with these characters through the decades. These miniseries are so amazing, important and educational. The ending was very strong and emotional. It reminded me of one of my favorite movies of all time "The Normal Heart" (2014). My only critique is the length, specifically the first five episodes, they seemed long and they could’ve been condensed into just 3 episodes tbh. They seem too political sometimes and a bit unnecessary. But one you get through those 5 episodes you get the best last 3 episodes of the show. Highly recommend. I truly love this movie—the performances of the cast and the setting were absolutely great. The story really resonates deeply with me. If I were given the chance, I would love to travel back to those times to witness their love and affection for each other, even though I know it’s impossible.
