Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald 05/06/2020
Hapless journalist Joy (Amy Huberman) is a bit like this Acorn original comedy as a whole. She's Irish and distinctly awkward to begin with, but she quickly proves endearing. Go to Full Review
Ben Pobjie The Age (Australia) 04/06/2020
It won't set your world on fire, but neither will it ruin your weekend, so go ahead and have a squiz. Go to Full Review
Joel Keller Decider 12/04/2018
It's got both slapsticky and character-driven comedic moments, along with more than enough seriousness to put us in Joy's corner from the first scene onward. Go to Full Review
Anne Brodie What She Said 11/30/2018
Irish actress Amy Huberman walks away with your heart in the sly new comedy series Finding Joy. She's just so relatable, she says the wrong thing, does the wrong thing, swears like a stevedore and accidentally farts in tense situations. Go to Full Review
John Boland Irish Independent 10/16/2018
It's pretty dreadful, too, with a dismaying reliance on scatological gags. Go to Full Review

Tim L 01/13/2023 Surprisingly heartwarming and offbeat Irish comedy plus, there is a great dog. See more ginger b 01/31/2021 It's hard to find comedy that doesn't have some cringy try-too-hard moments and that's true for this show. I stuck with it and grew too love it more with each episode. There are some very funny, well-acted scenes and the emotion is relatable. See more 01/07/2019 Refreshing and funny, thoroughly enjoyed watching. See more Nicki P 01/05/2019 Very funny, both in a juvenile and sophisticated way. Great writing and acting. Amy Hueberman is very talented. And love the dogs contribution to the show. See more 12/05/2018 Quirky, funny, different. See more 12/03/2018 Started well, but got a bit dribble-y from there. Could have been so much more edgy than just doing the love lorn thing. Amy and Aisling were great! David was underused. Aidan the dog was phenomenal. See more Read all reviews
