Looks slightly low budget. I liked the double perspective in episode one. The last episode was quite entertaining, but it did set up for a season 2 that won’t be. Good story overall. But the story was interesting, the characters were engaging, and the relationship between Juliette and Calliope is everything I could want from a lesbian vampire teen drama. Since I'm queer myself, I love to watch LGTBQIA+ series and movies, because I feel like I can relate to them. Now after I've rewatched the show I get sad when I think about that I don't get to see another season. It has felt so real, even though it's fantasy. I love it. The chemistry between Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Calliope (Imani Lewis) felt so real. They're both great actresses and I look forward to seeing them in their future projects.
