This series was amazing! I fully enjoyed the Romeo & Juliet love story. Yet I'm so heartbroken to think that Netflix has gone and axed such an amazing show with such potential too it! You left us fans on such a cliffhanger with the last episode of season one, asking so many questions and what happens next! Please renew the series and make some clarity to ending the show right x

This show is everything that I have wanted in a TV series. I feel like it was made for someone like me. I was a major fan of Twilight and Buffy but those lacked the Sapphic elements that I was looking for and weren't very diverse. Seeing First Kill made me realize everything that I had been missing growing up and what media I really needed but didn't realize it. This show is amazing and we need more of it.

I love first kill from the very first episode and I'm actually pissed that Netflix not bringing it back for a second season!! I'm so tired of actually good shows that's worth watching getting canceled while these horrible shows get like 5 and so years worth 😒 this is just sad and wrong on so many levels! Like no one like them horrible show but this new generation who is horrible in taste of everything they do and think 😕

There's not too many shows that can keep me captivated for more than a couple episodes at a time, and I literally binged watched the entire season of First Kill in one day! After being left hanging from their dramatically intense cliffhanger, I immediately turned to Google to see when the next season was due to be released. I was surprised, shocked and saddened to learn that Netflix cancelled this show. Since then, I have watched Season 1 again and again, in hopes that my efforts will build upon the collective efforts of trying to bring this show back for another season. If Netflix chooses to keep the show cancelled, I truly hope another network picks it up and allows for many many seasons to transpire.

Overall, I enjoyed it and I'm devastated there's not going to be a second season. I felt invested in the characters and their relationships. Oliver and Eleanor were particularly interesting characters, and I liked how the series sustained the mystery of who was good/bad. I also enjoyed the music selection and the bonding moments between Cal & Juliette. It's a bit cliché at parts, but what did you expect from a vampire forbidden love series? I went into the series acknowledging that, and I can say I had a good time. Example: I was amused by the frequency in which characters making out got interrupted. My only problem was the final episode. The decisions in that episode were questionable at the least. Why wasn't calling 911 the first reaction? How wasn't he dead? Despite that, I still want to know what will become of this situation.
