Caryn James New York Times 07/18/2019
For Your Love is simply stale and dull. Go to Full Review
Steve Johnson Chicago Tribune 07/18/2019
Amid the best of the NBC comedies, it seemed tame and unexciting, though it was a pleasant, sometimes even charming window into relationships, a personification of all that standup comic stuff about things guys and gals do and don't do. Go to Full Review
Carole Horst Variety 07/18/2019
Predictable plot elements don't get weighed down by stereotypes and stereotypical situations, and the actors and writers can spend the rest of the season creating characters, not caricatures -- this is a cute show with a good heart. Go to Full Review
Alan Pergament Buffalo News 07/18/2019
1.5/5
It is about time there was an attempt at a comedy with interracial friendships and the cast is beautiful. But the dialogue and battle-of-the-sexes situations aren't original or funny, which pretty much makes For Your Love for the birds. Go to Full Review
Scott D. Pierce Deseret News (Salt Lake City) 07/18/2019
Despite its interracial cast, For Your Love is bland, vanilla television. The characters and situations are generic. Go to Full Review
Terry Kelleher People Magazine 07/18/2019
Based on the two episodes we've seen, none of these characters qualify as "The Funny People." The dialogue does not sparkle, and the situations are straight out of Sitcom 101. Go to Full Review
