Critics Consensus

Skillfully maintaining its balance of puzzle box teasing and genuine pathos, From's second season is a spooky sci-fi treat.

Each episode drops more puzzle pieces, and I’ve been having a hell of a time trying to put them together. Go to Full Review

I’m not going to pretend that From is a perfect work of television. But for whatever criticism one can lob at it -- that it’s a miasma of phobias, black holes, and loopholes -- From undeniably works as an exemplar of its genre. Go to Full Review

Full-throttle pacing, incredibly high stakes, enigmatic horrors, and an immensely talented cast exploring the murky grey areas of morality make for one of the most thrilling horror series that shouldn’t be missed. Go to Full Review

It has the strong writing to be able to continue to develop characters in a world with very little resolution for the audience. Like the grand plan is worth waiting for…whenever it comes. Go to Full Review

'From' throws us right back into the anxiety-inducing chaotic puzzle that we have come to love and never takes its foot off the pedal. The drama and horror are building tension so palpable you have no choice but to invest. Go to Full Review

All of the cast do good work, enriching the scares with a vital humanity, but Perrineau owns every square centimetre of the screen throughout. Go to Full Review

Alex F @RT78774054 14 hrs ago Started to get slow but still intriguing. See more Brian L @blittle39059 5 days ago In all honesty, if season 1 had not caught my attention as much as it did, I wouldn't have made it through more than a few episodes of season 2. It's like at this point, the writers didn't really know how to expand the story, so they just created a new monster--one that isn't remotely as eerie as the first--and then after never giving answers or solutions to anything, they just spelled out an explanation so the season would wrap up nicely. I wouldn't suggest skipping season 2. but I will say it's like the entire series took a detour off into some direction that should've never been cleared for production. See more Jamie W @Jamie112 Oct 11, 2026 This is some of the worst acting I have ever seen in my life See more Moussa M @moussamazouzi Oct 1, 2026 Season 2 takes everything that made From interesting and turns it up. The mystery gets deeper, the atmosphere stays incredible, and there are so many moments that kept me curious. I know the show doesn’t always give answers, but I see that as part of the world-building. Not everything was perfect, especially the acting and writing, but I still had a great time. See more Cool T @RT75957865 Sep 23, 2026 Tabitha Matthews, who is played by actress Catalina Sandino Moreno. Is the worst actress. She do American, English and Latino accents in 3 sentences. She can not stick to a accent. Do3 belong in the role ‼️ She is a ffffffffffff joke ‼️ She doesn't deserve any stars‼️😅 See more Cinema S @cinema_sensei Sep 4, 2026 I was already hooked after Season 1, but this somehow pulled me in even deeper. The mystery gets bigger, the horror becomes more unsettling, and the tension keeps building. Not everything worked for me, especially some frustrating character decisions and slower moments, but that finale was insane. I finished it wanting answers immediately. See more Read all reviews
