Andrei D Jun 11 Somewhat better defined but still has too many subplots and fails to give the core characters enough space to do interesting things See more Patrick C Feb 7 A lot of walking around and it seemed like the plot had lost it's direction as well for a while. The series comes to a conclusion in a brief scene at the end of season 3 but certainly leads to another season. I did like the battle scenes with no audio and in slow motion. See more 01/23/2021 Season two begins to spin out of control for "Frontier." Canadian Conan becomes less believable after getting captured about 25 times. The two American characters are over the top and really never add anything of substance to the series. And the series' essential female hero is supposed to be a strong Irish woman but just seems to make one blunder after another. The only female character that burns up the screen is Jessica Matten's Indian woman Sokanon. Give me a series about her! Worse the series began as a promise to chronicle the fur trade, but season two makes the whole topic seem incidental. See more Lucas J 12/09/2018 Too much sex. Seriously, the first season had just one or two scenes to skip over, but in this one its several times per episode. This is lazy story-telling and immoral material. The story is uninteresting, rushed, and unevenly paced, and the characters generally hold no value to me. Anyone can die in this show at any moment and I wouldn't necessarily care.
