The more-casual sports fan or even non-sports fan will have no problem with the project as presented, because so much of the stories pull on the heartstrings. Go to Full Review

You’ll likely find yourself rooting for all of the golfers in the series during the next three golf majors, starting with the PGA championship. Go to Full Review

I just like seeing the clever balls going into the holes in the lovely, smooth, green grass. But maybe that’s just me. Go to Full Review

Box to Box has done this once already, and with that formula (sorry) already in place, I don’t think there’s any reason they shouldn’t be able to continue in the same way with golf. Go to Full Review

Full Swing is slick, attractive and moderately nutritious. We have all fallen asleep on the couch to worse than this. Go to Full Review

Ed R @JustcallmeER 05/09/2025 Good insight into the world of golf! See more Moody C @MoodyC 09/13/2023 This was better than the tennis series. The main problem with these sports series on Netflix is it lacks good story-telling. It does do some character development but almost zero good stories. It also confirmed my feelings for Koep - big house, big trophy case, trophy wife, only into himself. There will only be one season here because the only interesting storyline which kept me watching is PGA rivalry with LIV even though we all know outcome of that battle. See more Frank M @FMCD987 03/02/2023 I was really looking forward to this but it lacked action and excitement. The series seems to focus overwhelmingly on the negatives... The missed putts, poor drives, etc. so many other great golf documentaries. This one is pretty boring even for a die hard golf fan that was looking forward to an inside look, behind the ropes. I hope they add some excitement and energy to the second season. See more lawrenceb56 @Trexian 02/24/2023 This is beautifully set up and filmed really well. The storylines are exceptional but the players themselves sap interest. What is ultimately revealed is that we are dealing with some of the most boring and uninteresting people you've ever come across. Odd that the F1 series makes you sort of appreciate spoiled little rich boys and their race cars and even pull for some of them, while this effort, try as it might--can't inject personality where, it seems--there is none. The Ian Poulter and Joel Dahmen efforts gave it a good shot and the half-hearted attempts to get the LIV players to discuss anything other than the money they'd make were nice tries, but failures. There's a lot to like if you find golf interesting (I do)--but don't go looking to be introduced to the next Arnold Palmer, or Lee Trevino. These guys aren't much more than Stepford Golfers, which is nobody's fault--but man! The 3 bro roundtable with Matt Fitzpatrick's guys--or watching JT sit around the table with his vapid friends is mind numbing. See more Jim C @RT02675743 02/21/2023 Full Swing offers insight into the PGA tour in the way that Drive to Survive opened up Formula 1. For those who might think that the LIV Tour is benign competition for the PGA simply google "Saudi Arabia" and "repression" and you will see that the golf pros "sportswashing" the Saudis are enablers of an increasingly authoritarian and brutal regime. Hope the millions are worth it boys! See more J S @RT32556330 02/16/2023 Thought it was going to be good, but the first episode turned me off. It was way too much of a "bro" fest. JT and Spieth are dull and uninteresting See more Read all reviews
