Furious is feminist, yes, but not in a hectoring way. It remains subversive, entertaining and even funny during its bleakest moments, with prestige acting and cliché-free dialogue that breathes new life into the tired old police procedural. It may be well acted, but as a symbol of our culture, do we want to portray the actions of a serial killer as common in normal life?. I am no longer watching the series, as I do not feel that it adds to a beneficial view of society today. The male victims are somewhat cardboard characters, and the women are, as the title suggests, furious about their lives.
