And Rudy Guiliani, who concocted the entire RICO strategy is not mentioned by any of the ‘heroes’ who were involved in the conviction of Gotti. Totally absurd ‘documentary’. With four trials to over, and different characters involved in each, the producers did a remarkable job of keeping it clear and focused on each event. Like many streaming limited series, this was either too long or not long enough - the script gets into specifics but too narrow to justify the length - however, there definitely is more than enough details to cover a complete picture of John Gotti. The focusing on "getting Gotti" just didn't feel enough to warrant this much time. Potentially the story does glorify Gotti but it also puts focus on, and celebrates, the work of all the agencies involved in trying to put him behind bars over the years until his eventual conviction. Gotti was a flawed genius with a terribly dark side. Insightful and impactful.
