Both an eye-opening, 10-episode history lesson and a compelling, suspenseful personal drama about people swept up in forces beyond their control. Go to Full Review

Glória is an excellent mini-series though, with a spy tale that will have you unsure of where its main character’s loyalties truly lie the whole way through. Go to Full Review
Glenn Garvin Reason Online 11/29/2021
Like the history from which it springs, Glória is taut, tight and terrifying. Go to Full Review

Glória takes the standard Cold War spy drama and places it in a unique setting, which sets up some intriguing scenarios for missions to be executed and/or thwarted. Go to Full Review

Ronald M @disabledvet_1974 Feb 14 Movie requires depth of understanding, focus on details and critical processing of historical value in the creation of this well written movie-exceptional acting. See more Lee C @RT31897195 02/14/2023 "Meh, it passed the time" pretty much sums this show up for me. Although there was plenty of intrigue and plenty of period details to keep me interested, there were also quite a few historical inaccuracies that I found quite frustrating. It was as if the writers did not bother to do their homework about what things were actually like in 1968. See more 01/22/2022 Absolutely wonderful "hidden gem" on Netflix. A bit reminiscent of The Americans but also it's own thing. Beautifully written and shot. Highly recommended! See more 01/02/2022 Although the first episode was a bit confusing as to who is who and works for which company/agency, and the women especially were confusing between Ursula, Mia and the other Russian, it really picked up by episode 3 or so and got more interesting as the season went along. Highly recommend if you like slow burns and can handle some groundwork at the beginning, but I highly suggest paying close attention early. See more 12/21/2021 Good footage, good actors and the story is fascinating and addictive. A good spy series. See more 12/13/2021 This series was well written, superbly acted, and incredibly suspenseful. I binged it in a single night and have already gone back to watch it again a second time. The only thing stopping me from giving it a full 5 stars is that, in a few places, the plot seemed overly complicated, and one of the characters motivations became blurry. I'm hoping there will be a second season. 4 1/2 Stars, Highly Recommended. See more Read all reviews
