Unlike a lot of other dark fantasy stories, there's beauty and wonder in the world, and the titular Goblin Slayer works to preserve that by tackling the sadistic goblins that terrorize ordinary folks and rookie adventurers. Be warned though; there are some scenes that aren't easy to watch. A really green newbie adventure party go try to kill some goblins at the start of the series only to be ambushed and the men were completely massacred and w*men rap*d except for the priest. Wow, that took a dark turn really fast. Ah refreshing to see a realistic anime once and a while. You know goblins are like one of the lowest class of monsters in most fantasy series. A whole anime about them killing goblins would be boring you think but it's actually not that bad. If you want to watch a more mature anime this one is for you. Note though, the priest is really idealistic and super annoying but is offset by the Judge Dread type from Karl Urban Goblin Slayer character. The movie that came out for it is good but out of the 65 minutes, 25 minutes is a recap of the first season. See more Read all reviews
