Godzilla fans may appreciate this new installment to the beloved kaiju franchise, but new viewers will likely feel lost and confused by the slow pacing and underdeveloped world-building. Go to Full Review

Previous incarnations of Godzilla worked best by implanting ideas that were tangible. However, in the world of Godzilla Singular Point, the ideas prove to be non-existent, as do the inhabitants. Go to Full Review

It's like a gorgeously rendered term paper that every few pages remembers that it's supposed to be about Godzilla but then doesn't know what to do with that topic. Go to Full Review

Godzilla Singular Point has the makings of an epic in the vein of The End of Evangelion. I don't want to overhype it, but that's not a comparison I make lightly. Go to Full Review

Godzilla: Singular Point is the most unexpected take on the typical Godzilla fare you'll see anywhere. Go to Full Review

The animation is top-notch from beginning to end ... and you're pretty much guaranteed to have a great time whenever a kaiju is getting its time to shine on screen. Go to Full Review

Ilyas Z @Zellai Dec 7 This Anime Is Actually Really Enjoyable. The Human Scenes Are Great. The Action Sequences Are Fine Enough. And The Kaiju And The Fight Scenes Are PEAK. Put That All Together And What Do You Get? One Of The BEST Anime's Of ALL TIME!!! See more Nico S. @nicosrez Aug 25 Animation was great, loved the story but it got confusing for me at least. Would have like to see more Godzilla and less Rodan See more Antoine T @Kroustin Aug 6 Une bonne série mais les derniers épisodes devraient être sponsorisés par une marque d'aspirine, une histoire de message radio transmis a travers l espace temps grâce à une poussière rouge ... C est bien de vouloir complexifier le mythe de godzilla mais mollo See more Tony V Jun 30 I'm not with the intellectual anime purists on this one. When you stick the label "Godzilla" on something, we're expecting OTT fights, airplanes and tanks attacking monsters and getting stepped on. We are expecting monsters fighting each other and looking silly. We're expecting little singing Chobijin. We're expecting action, comedy, silliness and total lack of reality we can relax with. We are not expecting circular logic 30min dissertations which seem like "You ask me if the glass is half full or half empty, but I ask you, how can you be sure there's a glass there at all!" And then it goes in circles of illogic nonsense for gawd-awful long time like Itsuki from Haruhi Suzumija fame. Its like sticking the label "King Kong" on a show and then having long disertations about how can we be free when we still have possessions? Zzzzzz... The fact that Mei Kamino is one of the hottest waifus in anime stops me from totally review bombing this show though... X-D See more Benjie P 10/26/2024 Very underrated anime! Way and I mean WAY better than the Godzilla Earth Trilogy and I actually really liked it. Especially the ending it was PEAK. The whole anime is RICH with lore and the cliffhanger was just too much! I really don’t understand the hate and if you ask me I say this is a must watch for any godzilla fan. See more Read all reviews
