Back stateside, when I shared my story, a person told me about this series. The fact that it was in Italian was a huge plus. I was enthralled with this series from S1E1 !! Each episode is clever, unpredictable twists and turns in the plot, and thrilling. I've been won over a thousand times and recommend it to everyone. It will be a sad day when I finish S4E12 but looking forward to S5 in November !! See more 06/22/2021 I highly recommend this series. I extremely pleased that the production company was able to keep the high quality of the series right through to its end. What sets it apart from so many mediocre, formula, and bad productions. Is the fact that the viewer never knows what is going to happen next, or how it will effect the various characters. I watched the series with the original Italian language audio. I have dyslexia and reading subtitles requires a lot of time for me, but it was worth being able to watch good acting without being distracted by subpar audio English translation. The acting is great. Each actor seemed to be the person they were portraying. While none of the characters are really likable. It was hard not become invested in their efforts to succeed and survive. While the main characters in the series were certainly interesting. I really enjoyed actor Arturo Muselli as "Blue Blood". I think he would be great in a sword and action series. I was also impressed by actress Cristiana Dell'Anna who portrayed the character Patrizia. This series provided many nights of TV drama viewing for me. I'm so appreciative of the fact that it was permitted to run as long as it did. See more Read all reviews
