It feels normal and beautiful and gives you hope. It's an absolutely beautiful show and I wish that they would pick up production and produce more seasons. I resent shows "presuming" that I am a voyeur and shoving endless sex scenes at me (Outlander comes to mind), but even the times someone does kiss on this show it looks like they had their lips glued together. And what's with every actress looking like a kewpie doll with modified lower lips? I wish I could connect with Cassie, the lead character, but she's so Polyanna and shallow it actually makes it hard to deal with one's gag reflex. Lots of potential gone to waste. If you're a fundamental goody-two-shoes with a 10 yea old daughter this might be the perfect show for her. Otherwise... Vomit bag recommended" See more 08/07/2021 Terrible American TV. Not sure what annoys me more. The cloying background music, awful dialogue and plots, or every single actor. There is no comedy in it although it calls itself one. Schmalz is ladelled on so thickly I feel quite nauseous. Maybe, it is just that I am not American that I don't get it.
