Well I never: an episode of Grace that didn’t make me feel like jumping off a cliff. Go to Full Review

Grace must insist all his officers carry a pair of sunglasses as he does, slipping them on whenever he steps out of the car. Perhaps his optician has warned him about cataracts. Go to Full Review

Richard W @SwissChef Apr 20 Absolutely wooden and laughable. See more Alastair S @Stotty Apr 19 If I were John Sim, I would be quietly embarrassed about this. Watching him dance at his wedding like Pinocchio waiting for his nose to grow because of how poorly he and his team had delivered this Series was the epitome of how naff this watching had been. I don’t think I will bother watching the next series. Indeed, if ITV had any decency they would leave it there and resign his wife to the back of that van til kingdom come. See more Joe B @Tynewear77 Apr 15 I really enjoyed previous series of this show, but this series has been shockingly bad. The stories are unrealistic , some of the acting is wooden and there are some ridiculous holes in the plots. I've read some Peter James ( Grace ) books and they've been really interesting and gripping. Unlike the series. The author of the Grace based books was a policeman , so the procedural areas in the books seemed believable, but the tv show seems unrealistic. There have been times we've watched and frequently commented 'that's ridiculous' or 'that would never happen'. The episode where the person was locked in a barn with the car running to apparently make it look like they intended to commit suicide, was the worst. How would anyone think it could be suicide when both hands were tied to the car with rope? I can only think that the tv series is just vaguely based on the books to be this bad. I'm assuming the screen plays are very different from the actual books. See more Alistair R @AlistairCR Apr 11 Some of the worst acting I’ve seen. Wooden and boring. The script writers must be doing this between jobs. Dull and uninteresting. I used to like Grace but this is a great disappointment. See more Pamela B @RT77358712 Apr 6 Hammy acting -,dull and formulaic. Makes me want to laugh See more Laura P @RT49369372 Mar 31 Dull, boring and unexciting See more Read all reviews
