I am watching this show as fast as I can before Paramount+ yanks it from the streaming service. This is a true shame it has already been canceled when it is series that is definitely worth watching. Girls coming of age, exploring sexuality, bashing guys, blurting all sorts of preachy stuff, victimization, diversity for the sake of diversity...about as original as Wonder Bread. The overlay of the pseudo-1950s with "modern themes" is jarring. Like someone in Oklahoma obsessed with pronouns. Several sites have tried to give this the philosophical approach - it's really about how women were trapped and angry as a response to bad treatment by nasty boys, rebellion as self-esteem, blah blah Please, give us something different.
