Oct 07, 2022POSSIBLE SPOILER: Had to chop off a star because the real ending must be on the cutting room floor somewhere. A red flag is that the last episode is 10-12 minutes shorter than the rest. I don't need "tied with a bow endings" but clearly there was some kind of behind the scenes issue. That being said, I still highly recommend.

Nov 23, 2021I don't even want to describe the good parts of this, they just have to be experienced. It's a sort of True Detective S1 meets The OA in the Amazonian jungle, with native tribes, native languages and culture, and shamanism. Where they missed the mark is easier to talk about though: the antagonist got strangely powerful too fast and without explanation, and then the ending was too short and symbolic to even understand. But the rest was just magical.

Jun 22, 2021Fantastic and very original. A glimpse into another world, far beyond the westernised world view, we perhaps see how some indigenous uncontacted people see things. As their world comes into contact with ours, strange things happen.

Feb 17, 2021Incredible. Beautifully filmed, directed, and acted. Really fun to watch, but it's the deeper questions raised that will make you want to watch it again.

Dec 15, 2020Best mystery ever filmed in the Amazon jungle !!

Nov 30, 2020Absolutely Mesmerizing and Inspiring. A call to witness and admire the vast capabilities of mother nature. A hint of an expose of the history of colonial invasion mixed with the beauty and immensity of natives and their understanding of the jungle/plant world. We need more t.v. like this -- We need more people in this world to digest this knowledge, this wisdom, and translate it into energy they can invest back in to their local communities. Greater awe and appreciation for our forests, for our jungles, and for each other is needed in this world and this show does a great job of reminding all of us what has been taken away from all of us. Season 2, are you out there? Come find me won't you -- Or I should think I shall come find you...
