SkyRo P @TheMovieSearch Jun 6 The Greenhouse Academy is a fun, adventure-filled series available on Netflix. While it definitely has its standout moments, it’s also a mixed bag—some seasons are fantastic, while others are downright hard to get through. Still, I found myself enjoying the overall direction of the series and appreciated the unique world it built with its diverse cast. That said, the show definitely leans into the weird at times. It’s one of those series that you’ll either get into or you won’t—it’s not incredibly deep or emotionally compelling, but it has this quirky, fun charm that makes it enjoyable in the moment. The director deserves credit for pulling everything together in a way that did build a strong fanbase early on. Unfortunately, the last two seasons felt like a step backward. They lost some of the momentum and quality that earlier seasons had, and that decline is likely what led to the show wrapping up without a true continuation. The actors and actresses did a solid job with what they were given. While the writing and direction may not have always been consistent, the cast brought enough energy to make the show entertaining. At the end of the day, Greenhouse Academy is a light, easy watch. It runs for four seasons and doesn’t overstay its welcome. It’s not a must-watch for everyone, but if you’re in the mood for something fun and a little different, it might just hit the spot. See more angela g @Sunflower378 08/04/2023 i did not care for this season the story they decided to put in the first episode was a good story but the writer thought he was like um i lost my papers to the show so im going to make something else to the story that does not connect to the story skip the third season See more nik t 04/09/2022 That season was less good than season 2 but it's was decent. It had to introduce a new villain, show us how some things have changed after the ending of season 2 and it also presented how new relations between the characters. It was mostly a built-up for season 4 and that's why I believe season 3 and 4 should've been a 16-episode season. They shouldn't be separated and that's the only thing they did wrong, in my opinion. Now, I hear everyone complaining about Brooke and Emma and I strongly disagree with those people. Emma's new actress fitted better for the character, her acting, her voice and most important of all, her EXPRESSIONS took the character on another level. Brooke's new actress seemed a bit out of character at first but in the last 4 episodes of season 3 and for the entire season 4, she proved that she is a much better actress than the 1st one (the 1st one had literally only 2 expressions) and she developed the character for the better. I was very disapointed though when they replaced Emma, Brooke and got rid of Jackie. I also wished they cut out the drama with Hayley, Daniel and Leo. The new plot is pretty good with what happens to Jason and the Greenhouse. Overall not as good as first 2 but it was still good. See more Read all reviews
