Tv Season Info

In the seventh series of this medical drama, Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) plan their wedding, but the tables are turned as Cristina is now the one dealing with PTSD in the wake of a hospital shooting. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) end their relationship and Arizona heads to Africa on her own, so a distraught Callie turns to Mark (Eric Dane). Meanwhile, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) begins working on an Alzheimer's clinical trial and reluctantly allows Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) to work alongside him on it; and Meredith encounters problems with her fertility treatments. This series also features a special musical episode: Callie envisions the staff singing popular songs that had been featured in the series while she undergoes surgery.

Critic Reviews for Grey's Anatomy Season 7

All Critics (5) | Top Critics (4)

In a rush to get back on track after their brush with Columbine, characters - with the exception of Yang - have been turned into parodies of themselves. Worse, the stories surrounding them feel airless, forced and manipulative.

Unfortunately, the best bits of the premiere were the flashbacks to the finale, though their impact was watered down considerably in the context of an action-less storyline, filled with Grey's usual rambling pontifications.

After a handful of seasons that were, charitably, hit and miss, Grey's has started to get entertaining again.

Season 7 hasn't relegated the finale's events to a dramatic stunt; rather, it's reveled in the possibilities of rebuilding life in the wake of tragedy.

Happily, it now seems to have landed on solid ground, with its best ensemble and most engaging stories in years.

Audience Reviews for Grey's Anatomy: Season 7

GREY'S ANATOMY: SEASON 7 comes back with the same great qualities of the past season and adds a pich of unpredictability that will gloom some fans but that pleased me.

The show can't keep up with the level it set for itself. It's not only jumped the shark it did so on a motorbike that was on a sled that was under and an 18 wheeler driven by a panda. Worth Watching if you really like Soap Operas and for the performance of the actors, but be ready for a poorly (and lazily) written season.
