Portland detective Nick Burkhardt, descended from a long line of warriors known as Grimms, defends his city from magical creatures known as Wesen, which are part human and part animal. Fighting alongside his partner, Hank, colleague Sergeant Wu and friends Monroe and Rosalee, Nick faces off against internal and external forces, including his police captain, Sean Renard.

I realized that she is Lois from Superman and Lois but her voice is a lot different on the series Grimm. Funny, I had to look up and make sure that it was actually her. Face looks the same. Just her voice was different. I'm on series 2 almost at the end of it and her acting does not seem believable. She makes weird faces and with her eyebrows. Her acting appears fake. She is now annoying and the cast would honestly be better off without her . Love Monroe and his girlfriend, Nick, and the Captain . Sergeant Wu is a great addition! Can't wait to see if he finds out about Nick and the others ! Not sure what happens to juliette in the seasons to go. Hopefully they get rid of her character. I was really hoping she would just leave on her own. Found out that Nick is married to her in real life. Maybe she's a better wife and mother in real life. I wanted to give it five stars but I just find her character VERY annoying. The writing and story lines linking the Grimm fairy tales with reality is amazing. Nick improving his skills and becoming the Grimm we hoped he would be.
