I couldn't get through the first episode. The acting is so bad and the writing is so stale that I found myself dumbfounded to how this managed 5 stars on Amazon video despite over 35000 reviews. The cast and premise had me hopeful and optimistic but this show was just too bad to be patient.

Overall, a great film which fulfilled its purpose by the end of the story. I think this movie can relate to Christians who are well versed in the bible stories. Just like the in Bible the characters are flawed, but when chosen pretty much cannot deny their new purpose. Also, the bible texts used were great. Also the way in which God furfilled his mission in mysterious ways also mimics the Christian views. Of course the violence, sex, drinking, and drugs were not Christian-like.

Fantastic series is Hand of God! It takes you places you would never imagine and leaves you wanting to know more each and every time. The acting is top notch. The writing is amazing. A lot of critics seem to have trouble with the pacing, but they simply are being short sighted. It's a series, so you have to be willing to ride it out. And even during the slower paced parts it remains character driven enough to stay interesting. It's one of the greatest shames that they chose not to continue it after season 2.

The critics review of this show is bollocks. It's a proper character driven, gripping drama, the kind you rarely see on tv these days.

    Unnecessarily raunchy and depressing
