Gomez is just as delightful here as she was throughout the four-season run of One Day At A Time. Now we just need to see if the rest of the show can rise up to meet her-at the moment, it's got quite a climb ahead of it. Go to Full Review

As far as expanding HBO Max's brand of original series, it's too generic and not really worth the time. Head of the Class isn't a failure, but you can easily pass on attending. Go to Full Review

After a bumpy pilot, the sitcom settles into a low-key likable vibe. Go to Full Review

While similar sitcom reboot One Day at a Time rose above its laugh track, this series doesn't quite get there. Go to Full Review

Gomez has plenty of chutzpah and peppy charisma, while the young performers are also not without their charms (and thankfully all look they should still be in high school). Go to Full Review

It's pleasant. The episodes are only about twenty minutes long and they're all bright, shiny bits of fluff. The stakes are low and every conflict is resolved by the end of the episode. Go to Full Review

03/30/2022 It made me laugh out loud in multiple times. The cast was great, they were extremely enjoyable. I love Isabella Gómez and I hope we see her more often. See more rick w 11/15/2021 Just isn't funny. Lose the laugh track since it sounds just awful. Nice sets and diverse cast is all there is (slightly amusing moments from characters of Miles, Sarah, and the Principal) but nothing to do with the 80s show. That would be ok if this was meant to stand on its own so why call it by the same name? Manalive if it's renewed fix everything! See more Read all reviews
