Jackie Quiñones, a hard-partying National Marine Fisheries Service agent, has her life thrown into disarray when she gets tasked with investigating serious crimes in her popular beach community. As if battling criminals isn't hard enough, Jackie walks the tightrope of sobriety as she tries to stay above a pool of secrets, betrayal and shame from her past. She becomes at odds with Sgt. Ray Abruzzo, an abrasive but effective member of the Cape Cod Interagency Narcotics Unit, until he becomes disgraced and is taken off the force as they both spiral from the stress of their investigations.

My wife and I are about half way though season 2 and we are really enjoying the show, however, I feel like the sex scenes are a little over the top. They don't add anything to the plot and so we fast forward through them.

I really enjoyed Season 1 but the story telling started to fall off in Season 2. Season 2 began making a lot of unbelievable connections between State Troopers, Fisheries, Ray and other civilians with Alan letting Ray tag along on a police investigation, Ray having a "CI" and talking to the State Trooper Major like he was still an officer in good standing, etc. It makes the rest of the story seem like a soap opera, it feels a little lazy.

Unfortunately drug addict/alcoholic Jackie is annoying and probably the worst actor on the entire show... Jackie's story is the worst out of all of the characters which is really disappointing since Jackie is the main character in this series! I like Renee's, Osito's and Ray's stories more.
