It was not necessary and ridiculous. Acting was very good. I will pretend it ended 15 min earlier!! Was pretty dumb how the friend wouldn't have known the fellow news anchor wasn't her fat old friend. Jacks insane illegal behavior is what got to me the most. He is working against his colleagues, he is destroying evidence, and for what? I was sitting through the whole show thinking I was going to understand why he was so set on investigating the murder of one of his close relations but I never got it. The normal thing would be to just admit to being a witness in the case and help the best way you can from there. His incompetence gets someone killed and I'm supposed to root for him?  Anna is very calculated and selfish but at least I could understand her motivations for doing some of the things she did. The plot wholes, the far fetched twists and the incompetence of the police force - by the end I was exhausted by it all. The one star is for the actors, they are giving it their all but the plot is just too far fetched for their performances to save the show.
