Home is careful to avoid becoming rigidly formulaic; instead the variability of its subjects ensures that it remains an exhaustive, rather than exhausting, watch. Go to Full Review

Nick S 01/05/2024 Truly impressive homes and a source for a lot of inspiration. Production style is artistic and quality is excellent as we've come to expect from an Apple TV show. See more 06/24/2022 Uplifting profiles of ten architects who are building homes that are sustainable, visionary, and deeply connected to both nature and the communities in which they reside. The show gives me hope for the future of humanity. See more 08/23/2020 The wealth and white privilege on display for most of the episodes makes this show insufferable to watch. The "Chicago""India" and "Mexico" episodes are excellent and the only ones that doesn't involve perverse amounts of white privilege. The photography is excellent but the audio editing is so bad it constantly distracts from the narrative. The people interviewed have their dialog chopped up to match the running time of the show, but as a result sounds completely unnatural for most of the episodes. See more 05/18/2020 I was seriously blown away by many of the episodes. The focus lies more on the origin story of each home, unearthing fascinating perspectives and unpacking a wealth of new information. Home is different from Extraordinary Homes Of The World (Netflix) if you've watched that series. There's less focus on the actual homes themselves and what the spaces look like inside. I'd love to see a second season that explores those unusual and illuminating origin stories AND what the actual spaces inside the homes look like(similar to how EHOTW explores each home, minus the requisite Piers Taylor on the fly sketching segments). See more 04/30/2020 If you love Chef's Table and incredible feats of residential architecture, Home is heaven. It's beautifully directed and produced, and brilliantly tells the story of the people and their inspiration behind the homes. Loved it! See more 04/24/2020 Simply amazing. This series shows that many things can be done by protecting the ecosystem. See more Read all reviews
