What to Know

Critics Consensus

Not all of Home Economics' calculations add up, but believable chemistry between its well-cast siblings and a real sense of affection equals a lot of potential for positive growth.

While there is strength in the chemistry and in the specificity of some jokes, the idea is still a bit too generic overall to generate much anticipation. Go to Full Review

The characterizations are uneven... But the balance between sibling meanness and sibling love is handled well, and the dialogue steers into Grace's gift with wry, needy sarcasm and Tatro's talent for making a type of lunkhead lovable. Go to Full Review

All told, the concept and casting have promise. But while it features a modern family, at first blush, Home Economics is no Modern Family. Go to Full Review

Could have been a solid sitcom about Connor moving back to the west coast... But bringing money into the proceedings does what money tends to do: it snarls everything up into a complicated, ugly mess. Go to Full Review

Marie B @mmb086 Dec 12 Witty and endearing. See more Edgar O 06/26/2024 I'm all for inclusivity but this show kind of does the opposite, makes the bi racial same sex couple seem insufferable. The mexican wife stereotypically drinks to much and while they try to make the rich not so smart divorcee the jester he seems like the most normal and caring of the bunch.. very confusing See more Anne B 04/14/2024 Sweet and kind show! See more Andy S 02/18/2024 The sister Is very annoying character See more Junkyard P 04/23/2023 Please don't cancel. I'm on episode 3 of season 1 and I really like this show already. I see there's 3 more seasons. Keep it going. Love the cast. Love Topher Grace. He's always a bit awkward but I think this is his most likeable role. Eddie Brock sucked. The Predator movie he's ehh. That 70s Show he's okay. Great in the Black Klansman. It's always the same character with him essentially (obviously all his characters aren't the one in Black Klansman, but the rest are basically the same). Very humorous show. Love the sibling dynamic. Really enjoying it. God these reviews require a lot of characters. See more Tyler K @gorphead57 10/17/2022 A fun story about three siblings and their class. In society some pretty good comedy and likable characters makes for a nice series 8/10 See more Read all reviews
