Hughe J @Hughe Jul 29 Hoops was an animated show released on streaming in 2020 and was canceled after the first season. This is the classic sports trope of a down and out coach revitalizing his team with a star player in the hopes of making it to the big leagues. This has been done far better in pretty much every other show and movie. Hoops relies on a lot of profanity and harsh comedy and honestly got old very quickly. The animation style is fine, reminded me of Rick and Morty, but all of the jokes failed to land for me and the constant profanity was unnecessary. This is a terrible show and I wouldn't waste my time watching it.
