You don't expect the lyricism of Murat pining for Sule when an older guy like him should perhaps know better, but it's funny and touching. Each episode opens with a hallucinatory episode in a snowy wasteland that is in equal parts comical and disturbing. The basic idea of the jabbering disease is working so far, up to episode four. I'm looking forward to the rest. Seems like it could've been 1-2 episodes shorter, but again, that's not enough of a reason to rate it poorly. I also encourage watching in original language with subtitles. See more Ellen J @RT72625804 04/21/2023 What I liked: Low-budget, but original and well-paced. A little bit hard to buy the premise, but if you don't think about it too much--the story works. This series was better than many expensively produced sci-fi series from the US. The hallucination scenes were especially effective. What I didn't like: Most American women find it creepy when a middle-aged man is mooning over a woman young enough to be his daughter. Couldn't he have fallen for a more age-appropriate woman? No diversity, no disabled, in places--too sentimental with syrupy violins. See more mike l @MikeLance 12/10/2022 The concept is great, and there's some humour that I do think was intentional. The acting is good too. Some of the problems I have are that although it was interesting, I found it a labor to get through. I agree with the other review that maybe this should have been a movie. Also, this is currently categorized as a limited series. If that is the case, the ending could leave you unsatisfied. Very torn on this one. I don't think it justifies another season, but maybe a movie to wrap it all up. If that happens, and it wraps things up successfully, I would raise my rating. See more H S @RT64866766 12/07/2022 it has a great plot and script, well filmed , and entertaining, the only very disturbing fact is that main role is made by a man with 45 years old, and the main feminine role is made by a woman with 27 years old. that is very sexist. the way they treat woman in the nuances on the serie is also sexist. the tattoer send his girlfriend to the kitchen, while they are talking. could be a great serie if wasnt so sexist.
