Critic Reviews for House Season 6

All Critics (12) | Top Critics (6)

This is the best "House," and its leading man, have been in a long time.

Sep 21, 2009 | Full Review…

Laurie is superb, carrying scenes so strongly that for long stretches the viewer will forget the absence of his regular colleagues entirely.

After seeing the season six premiere, I'm honestly happy to see that things may be improving for House, not just the character, but the show as well.

Mar 18, 2019 | Rating: 9.2/10 | Full Review…

In the undeniably worth-your-time two-hour FOX premiere of season six of House M.D, Golden Globe winner Hugh Laurie instead shatters his M.O. by admitting his addiction to the narcotic painkiller Vicodin.

House has continuously been one of the best written, most entertaining shows on television.

There's a reason this show gets so much award consideration - their average episodes are still better than three-quarters of what's out there.

Feb 5, 2019 | Rating: 8.3 | Full Review…

The episode is both a bridge to the new season and a brilliant stand-alone feature film, with a new cast, a new set and glimpses of a new House as his defenses finally crack.

House's unwillingness to deal directly with his patients has always set this series apart from other medical shows.

We've all longed to see House confront his demons, but not like this, not in an overwrought movie that plays like an adult after-school special.

Sep 21, 2009 | Rating: 2/4 | Full Review…

It's a generally strong episode as House attempts to annoy his doctors so much that they'll sign off on his departure.

Audience Reviews for House: Season 6

Compared to the other seasons of House, this seems like a bigger letdown, we all awaited the moment to see how long it will take for House to go too far, and the first few episodes have shown it very well. However, as the season progressed, we started to lose the feeling and idea that House has come all this way to get where he is right now, his character has been completely all over the place, especially in such a character focused season, the writers could've done a better job with this. Along with that, the general episodes and cases seem too boring and general, only being used as a stand-in for the House plot and how he is growing as a character, which is straying away from the original idea of House.

The down low and 5 to 9 are perfect episodes. Wilson, ignorance is bliss, and remorse are also great.

House: Season 6 is amazing, because of the very sad story arc of Dr. Greg House. The writing is awesome as always, and it has a worthy season finale.

Season six of house picks up with House in a mental institute, which was an extremely unique and creative thing to do... But sadly, once he returns to the hospital, this season is incredibly boring compared to previous ones overall and utterly redundant. the overarching plots (House and Cuddy's drama, Chase's murder and his marriage with Cameron falling apart, House's sobriety, and Taub's relationship with his wife) are uninteresting and underdeveloped. That being said, it's still House and is still well written and funny, just not up to House standards.

Enough That The First Episode Equals To Me a Whole Movie ... It Was 90 Mints Episode , David Shore Created Amazing New Characters Just For This Episode Only .
