Leslie K. @Wilbur380 May 15 I love this series. Well acted film, all the actors are high level. Cinematography is also impressive. I’m mid way through season 2. I’m ready for season 3. I’m remembering all I learned in religion class. Very inspiring. I’m sure there is some artistic license, there is history as well. Such a nice surprise to find this on prime. Thank you so much. It would have added more realism and been more meaningful to have Jewish actors portray their Biblical ancestors. Why stray from the original account when it is amazing enough as it is? Who needs subplots? So much was left out that would have enriched recounting the tapestry of David's life! All of his amazing wives and how he aquired them. The battles within among his sons and daughters. Where was the annointing oil? At least the cartoon version got that right. I guess I could make my own AI version and cast it myself.
