This show is so funny!
HIMYM is great because it has great characters, good narrative and its laugh out loud..
The Show's Seventh Season was emotional roller coaster full of twist and turns making it the greatest season of the show
DAFUQ? Why? Ok, first the positive part: Barney had an interesting and tensioned lovelife, Lilymouse and Marshmallow are parents now, Robin is a star in the newsworld and she has a destroyed lovelife + she knows she will never have children and Ted.... Ted's lovelife did nothing until the last episode. My favorite story was the story between Robin + Kevin, innovate, creative, good actors and an amazingly high funfactor, when they combined the plot with Barney's story it was just one of the best TV-Storylines of all time. One really big contra point in it, no fun (except^^). It was just one big good story, except of Ted, who was boring and hilarious as fuck. And the season finale, was by far my biggest rage in the series this far. The spoilered the complete next season with every character. Marshall & Lily = are there for Marvin, Robin = will be with Barney, Barney & Quinn = ahh, such a cool story, tried to give more tension, with a cliffhanger, and then completly killing the 'tension'. Ted is working his list of ex-girlfriends again or what? Ahh, it just was annoying, 7/10, one big negative part and a bad, bad, bad ending, just killed it.
Season 7 of HIMYM was doomed from the get-go when casting issues required script rewrites across the board. It doesn't help the fact either that everything happening throughout the season ultimately amounts to nothing. The season premiere means nothing, the following episodes mean nothing, heck...even the 150th episode means nothing. It's a whole season that can practically be skipped over...which is a shame, truly.
Now the series is getting great!
The jokes in this season become kind of corny, and the relationships are boring.
Season seven is a disappointment (for HIMYM standards). There are some good overarching plots throughout the season, such as Barney and Nora's relationship, Robin and Kevin's relationship, Lily's pregnancy, and Barney's relationship with Quinn after Robin didn't return his affection. There are a few truly great episodes in season seven (Symphony Of Illumination, No Pressure, The Magician's Code Pt. 1 & 2, The Drunk Train (Solely for Ted's confession of love to Robin :) ) ), but it's mostly filler that seems to have lost it's comic edge. That being said, it's still HIMYM, so it's still incredible... There is no "bad" HIMYM episode. Watch it.
I didn't really like this season even if it has one or two decent episodes and a few laughs.
One of the best seasons of the show, it was incredibly funny, very sweet, with more great performances from its cast.
