“The Human Vapor” is a highly diverting artifact, imbued with Honda’s crisp style and anticipating several strains of incipient swinging-’60s cinema. Go to Full Review

It’s evanescent froth, useful only if you want to try and pick up some Japanese or make some juvenile guff gags. Go to Full Review

Netflix’s Human Vapor transforms a cult Japanese sci-fi classic into a stylish conspiracy thriller that pairs unsettling body horror with an emotionally grounded mystery. Go to Full Review

An entertaining, verging-on-stirring tale worth watching for fans of sci-fi dramas with whimsical tokusatsu hijinks sprinkled in for good measure. Go to Full Review
Tatat Bunnag Bangkok Post Jul 14
It's a fascinating show -- bizarre, quirky and undeniably ambitious -- but beneath its supernatural premise lies a surprisingly emotional story about grief, injustice, and the people society chooses to forget. Go to Full Review

s Y @yerubandi Jul 31 the story thought was good but the plot has too many holes after 2 episodes it loooked so boring. See more Mr S @Moongrazer Jul 26 So much better than what I expected and I can’t wait to see if they are going to make a second season!!! See more Eric P @RT61349267 Jul 20 This is worth a watch. I enjoyed it. If you're paying attention, you see some of the answers before the show gives them to you, but it's enjoyable either way. My big complaint is the final episode. There are multiple unbelievable situations and without giving anything away, I think the final episode could have been significantly improved upon. But it's a fun popcorn show if you don't overthink it. Yes, it's worth watching. See more Louisa M @LoMo6789 Jul 20 Its seriously good. I've watched it about two weeks ago and it still goes round and round in my head. Not many shows can do that. It's got it all, hearts, smarts, action, to the max and even jaded old me never saw the twists and turns coming. See more Zaraki K @RT70003329 Jul 11 This started so good. The acting, the choreography, the vfx was great. Even the one episode with comedy from the talented duo terror show was awesome, meeting that director of a video clip made me fall off my sofa because of how funny it was. I would have preferred that tone with the rest of the show or explaining details about the human vapour and more kills. It absolutely didnt make any sense at all coming to the end about how the human vapour functions. Does it recognise people by names only or knows adress without google maps, knows the exact location of people, does it do only killings?? Could have been much much better. The producers should adapt manga and check score on Myanimelist about the stories. See more Gail TheWriterStuff J @Thewriterstuff Jul 9 I enjoyed this a great deal. It was suspenseful and engaging with an ending that unfortunately suggests a sequel. I hope not though. See more Read all reviews
