Propelled by a strong cast and even stronger sense of justice, Hunters' stylish first season doesn't always hit the mark, but when it does, it strikes pulpy paydirt.

The fantasy that Hunters offers isn't one of cathartic Nazi-killing. It's the delusion that violence really is the answer. Go to Full Review

Perhaps now wasn't the time for a wildly uneven, superficial, comic book-type treatment of this particularly sick and unfortunately still-relevant dynamic. Go to Full Review

Playing fast and loose with the truth is always a risky business - but the real trouble with Hunters is that it plays dumb and clumsy. Go to Full Review

Andrea A @Woland 22h Season 1, you'll enjoy quite a lot, and think it's very well done... until the last episode comes along, and it will completely sabotage this series for you. Last episode will obliterate any meaning, any sense the previous episodes tried to convey. You will feel cheated. You will regret having spent 11 hours of your life on this. Seriously. Don't say I didn't tell you. See more Seb G @SebGevers Feb 16 Got off to an explosive start at the poolside, and the series has decent performances from the cast, along with some good twists and turns. The last two episodes had a bit of the A-Team about it, with some pretty hard-to-believe scenarios but all-in-all an entertaining first series. See more Suz L @SuzMorby Jan 31 Sad to see how so many have not only forgotten the past, but refuse to accept the truth that it happened. So many documents to prove the truth, yet, lies seem to gain traction. This is a good series to watch to understand what the world went through during and after WWII. So many Nazi’s spread all over the world, and their vile propaganda. I know this show isn’t a documentary, but it does show how horrific it was for many during those times. While the Jewish population was the main focus, there were other groups that suffered the same violence. Please don’t accept deniers, please do honest research. The truth hurts, but this was a horrifically hurtful time. See more Daniel S Jan 11 Victimhood as a Superpower Oh my God. I watched this show until the very end. Yes, the end. Two full seasons. That alone deserves recognition, not for the series, but for my patience. Not because the show is deep or intellectually demanding, but because it is bloated, pretentious, and painfully boring. Every episode feels longer than it actually is. Ten minutes pass like an hour. One episode feels like an entire season of unnecessary suffering. The show desperately tries to be everything at once: Historical? No. Thriller? Barely. Documentary? Absolutely not. Entertaining? Not even close. What it actually is: exaggerated drama, cheap emotional manipulation, nonsensical transitions, and blatant filler designed to stretch episodes beyond their natural lifespan. Yes, the story revolves around Nazi crimes against Jews, which is a serious and important topic. But the execution is disastrous. See more Mela P Dec 29 It’s a bit slow at times but overall it’s a very good watch. As a native German speaker it was hard to not cringe at some of the atrocious pronunciation and I finally understood what Russians must feel when their language is butchered by Russian Hollywood villains. See more Iamwhoi M @Shaboutiques Dec 25 Got a bit muddled here & there; but it's worth watching the whole series. See more Read all reviews
